This flower pot is a great Mother's day gift that you can personalize with kid's names on the leaves. Add more leaves for more children. Or leave the names off, and it will be a fun paint kit for kids to color and gift to mom. I used 3mm plywood. If you use a different thickness, you will need to change the slot in the stand. I provided a file with 2 leaves, add more leaves for more children.

Step 1

Insert a circle. I did not draw a perfectly round circle intentionally, but you could if desired.

Step 2

Use the Circular Array tool to turn that circle into a flower. I changed it to 6 copies, because I like 6 petals for my flower. Change this number to your desired petal amount. Change the x number until the circles touch each other and overlap slightly. After you're happy with how your flower looks, use the Shape tool and add another circle to the middle to cover the center hole. Select everything, Combine and Unite.

Step 3

Insert a long rectangle and make a stem. Use the Shape tool, find the shape that is almond shape, and add the desired amount of leaves to the stem. You will need to rotate the angle for the leaves. Use the Shape tool again, and find the trapezoid shape. Rotate that 180 degrees to make the flower pot. Arrange everything to your liking and select all, Combine and Unite.

Step 4

Insert a rectangle to form the brim of the flower pot. Make a copy of the brim for layering later. And add a circle shape for the center of the flower. Make a copy of the circle for layering later. Select the flower pot and brim and Combine and Unite. Don't Combine the center flower circle.

Step 5

Choose a connecting font you like and type your short message. I chose Happy Mother's Day. Weld all the letters together. Center it on the flower pot. Make a copy for layering later.

Step 6

Time to make the stands. Insert a rounded rectangle and draw a small rectangle inside. I'm using 3mm plywood, so I made my slot 3.2mm. Make 2 stand bases. Copy the slot rectangle and make it 6mm, but don't change the length. Combine it with the bottom of the flower pot. You are now done. I changed the line colors to what should be cut and score in the 2nd picture.
