I purchased the acacia cutting board from Hobby Lobby. The circular diameter of the cutting board is 11.75 inches. I created the name and date in Adobe Illustrator using the Calington Script font for the name and the Angelica Script font for the date. The infinity with home was purchased from Design Bundel. I exported the file as an svg.

I removed the bottom plate of my M1 and place the M1 on 1 ½” risers. I placed the cutting board on the honeycomb (it’s 1” thick).
I opened the XCS Program and turned on the M1.
In the XCS Program I imported the svg file.
I selected Open Plane and Auto measure the distance.
I selected all of my designs that I imported and chose:
Engrave

Speen 120 mm/s

Turned on my air assist.
It took approximately 145 minutes to engrave the cutting board.
Once the cutting board was completed, I washed off the cutting board removing any soot left of the cutting board. Once the cutting board was completely dry, I used Howard Cutting Board Oil purchased from Home Depot.
