Today we will make a bag that will be useful for storing and carrying our belongings (e.g., makeup brushes, pens, cutlery, screwdrivers, and other processing tools, etc.).
So let’s see what we need and get started right now!
Supplies:
Leather *2
Elastic band *1
Glue gun *1 (or other adhesives with strong bonding ability)
Software
xTool Creative Space
Machine
xTool M1
Open XCS and connect the software with the machine first, and select the Laser flat mode.
Then, select user-defined material in the drop-down menu.
Step 2
Put the material in the center of the laser red dot, shut the lid, and click Auto-measure.
And, place the material in the processing area.
Step 3
Import the design file, adjust the processing position of the designed elements.
I’m using my dog’s image in this case, and this is what it looks like.
Step 4
Select all elements, select Engrave and set the working parameters.
My settings are 30% Power, 55mm/s Speed, 1 Pass and 100 Lines per cm.
You can adjust them according to the thickness of the leather piece.
After it’s ready, click Process.
Step 5
Divide the compartments using the glue gun (or other adhesives with strong bonding ability. You can also stitch them together). The width of the compartment depends on the size of your brushes/ tools.
Step 6
Now you can put the items in the rolling kit! Don’t forget to add the elastic band to it.
This is the final result
Make your own version of it!
If you have any questions, please leave them here~
